Take home this beautiful art piece, “Pinwheel Bloom” painted on canvas by local Edmonton artist Ginette Callieres-D’Silva.  Ginette is an emerging abstract and mixed media artist who, from the first canvas she painted in April 2011, has made her art a crucial part of her self-expression and self-care. Ginette started her learning journey as an artist by observing other mixed media and art journaling artists online and have taken a few classes in and around the city. She complements her learning with a deep curiosity and an outside the box sense of exploration. She likes to think of her painting process as play, a play which involves bright colorful hues and interesting textures. Ginette paints in layers, oftentimes not having any pre-conceived idea of what the final product will be. Her paintings and mixed media pieces have a peaceful energy as if she has poured her soul into her pieces.  10" X 10" X 1"
